What is a client and a server?

A client is a computer hardware device or software that requests access service provided by a server. 

A server is a piece of computer hardware or software (computer program) that provides resources, data, services, or programs to other computers (clients) over a network. The server could be a file server, database server, print server, or web server.

Waterfall is a project management method with a linear approach. In Waterfall, each stage of the workflow needs to be completed before moving on to the next step. Waterfall is suited for projects where the objectives are clearly outlined from the beginning.
